What is this service?
The ‘Stop Smoking Service, provided by Lambeth Council, offers free advice, encouragement and support to people who are finding it hard to stop smoking.
The service provides patients with one-to-one support (face-to-face or remotely) from a stop smoking specialist. The specialist can also support patients through use of nicotine replacement therapies, where appropriate.
Criteria
Patients must be from one of these ‘at-risk’ groups:
- Diagnosed with one or more long-term conditions, including mental illness
- Pregnant women and their partners
- Parents with children aged five or under
- Smokers considered to be complicated cases, such as chronic smokers

Rejections, DNAs & other Quirks
- Be sure to contact the stop smoking service between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday. If you leave a message, the team will get back to you as soon as they can.
