What is this service?
All musculoskeletal foot related problems without an underlying neurological condition such as flat feet/over-pronation and in-toeing are seen by Foot Health Services at UHL.
Services provided:
- Wound care
- Vascular assessment
- Diabetic foot assessment
- Nail surgery (and emergency nail clinic for ingrowing toenails)
- Musculoskeletal assessment and gait analysis
- General and high risk clinics
- New patient clinics
- Acute foot services
- Home visiting service
Foot problems treated include:
- Foot ulceration/wound care
- Musculoskeletal pathology of the foot and lower limb
- Skin and nail pathology of the foot
- Foot deformities
Criteria
- Resident in Lewisham or in full-time education in Lewisham or whose GP is in Lewisham

Rejections, DNAs & other Quirks
- The Trust provides a home visiting service for patients who are unable to attend any of the clinics. Patients who are able to attend GP or dental appointments will not be considered housebound.
