What is this service?
The Community Adult Audiology Hearing Aid Service, commissioned by SEL ICB, examines patients with hearing loss. Following examination, the service can fit the patient with an NHS-funded hearing aid (if appropriate) and advise on its use, long-term maintenance and aftercare.
Criteria
- Registered with a GP in Lambeth, Lewisham or Southwark
- 18 years old and over
- For information on exclusion criteria by provider, please search for the service on eRS as described below

🖥️ eRS → Select ‘Diagnostic Physiological Measurement’ as the e-RS Speciality > select ‘Audiology - Hearing Assess/Reassess’ as the e-RS Clinic Type > select a suitable provider and location based on the patients needs.
Rejections, DNAs & other Quirks
- The service does not offer ear wax removal
