What is this service?
The Southwark Council Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) is the gateway for all safeguarding referrals for children within the borough of Southwark.
If you are concerned about a child, MASH respond to:
- requests for advice and support regarding a child whose needs are not being met by services currently involved with the family
- protection concerns for children at risk of significant harm

To seek advice and guidance about making a referral:

In all cases where a referral is made the attached GMC leaflet should be given to the parents or guardians
