What is this service?
Lewisham Talking Therapies (part of IAPT) offer free and confidential short-term talking therapies and support for patients who are experiencing/have experienced any of the following:
- Anxiety
- Depression
- Abuse/domestic violence
- Bereavement
- Substance abuse
- Legal and consumer worries
- Worries related to money
A range of therapies are offered, including guided self-help, counselling, CBT, an online program (SilverCloud), and group therapy.

- 18 years old or over
- Registered with a Lewisham GP

- Wait times are as follows:
- SilverCloud: available immediately
- Guided self-help: 1-2 months
- Counselling: 3-4 months
- CBT: 5-6 months
