What is this service?
The Service User Network (SUN) offers help and support to people who have long-standing emotional and behavioural problems. It also also a crisis intervention service for anyone struggling with their mental health. Intervention is through supportive and structured group work.
SUN aims to reduce:
- Common experiences of isolation
- Being overwhelmed by feelings and problems
- Feeling stuck in a pattern of behaviour
Criteria
- >18 years
- Live in Lewisham or are registered with a Lewisham GP.

Rejections, DNAs & other Quirks
- If a patient has not attended a group for three months Lewisham SUN will close the membership but patients can self-refer again in future.
- This service is able to refer on to the Specialist Personality Disorder service where indicated. Informing patients of this may promote engagement with the service.
