What is this service?
KCH Respiratory Medicine diagnose, treat and provide continuing care for patients with chest-related conditions.

Criteria
Conditions treated:
- asthma
- chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD)
- sarcoidosis
- asbestos-related conditions including mesothelioma
- cystic fibrosis
- tuberculosis
- chronic and acute respiratory failure
- sleep-disordered breathing
- pneumonia
- pulmonary haemorrhage, hypertension and embolism
- genetic and developmental lung disorders
- lung cancer.

In an emergency, call switchboard on 020 3299 9000 and ask to speak to the on-call respiratory consultant.
Rejections, DNAs & other Quirks
- As of 1st-Apr-2024, the Respiratory Diagnostic Service will be provided at:
- KCH
- Herne Hill Road
- Acorn & Gaumont Surgery
- Tessa Jowell health Centre
- Deerbrook Surgery (service continues to 30 June 2024, no longer accepting new referrals)
- Lorraine Hewitt House
From 1st-Jul-2024, the capacity at KCH will be doubled
