What is this service?
Anxiety UK is a charity which provides emotional support and advice for patients affected by anxiety, stress and/or anxiety-based depression.
Anxiety UK offers both free and paid services:
- Helpline
- ‘Ask Anxia’
- Text service
- Self-help tools
Offers support, advice and information on anxiety, stress and anxiety-based depression conditions
Webchat which patients can use to ask anxiety-related questions
For brief advice (responses limited to 160 characters)
Resources, videos etc. which can be accessed via the website

- Helping your child CBT programme
- Therapy service
Includes ‘Art for Anxiety Relief’ course, anxiety management courses, and anxiety support groups. Click here for course details, costs and times.
Designed to give parents the skills needed to support their child with their anxiety. Costs can be found here!
Referral to counselling, CBT, CFT, clinical hypnotherapy and eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing (EMDR) within 2 weeks (may be longer for EMDR and in-person sessions). Costs are based on household income and can be found here!

- Parents with children aged between 5 and 12
Therapy Services
- Aged 18 years old and over
- Require support with anxiety, stress or anxiety-based depression
- Registered with a GP in the UK
- Anxiety UK member (fees here)
