What is this service?
SHOUT is a free text messaging support service for anyone who is struggling to cope. The service is available 24/7 and is entirely confidential. Mental health issues which the service can help with include:
- Anxiety and stress
- Depression
- Grief
- Sleep
- Loneliness or isolation
- Abuse
- Bullying
- Suicidal thoughts
- Self-harm
- Chronic pain
Criteria
- Anyone who is struggling to cope and needs to talk to someone
How to refer
👤 Patients can self-refer by texting the word ‘SHOUT’ to 85258
