What is SDEC?
The provision care for patients who need urgent same day but not emergency care. SDEC allows patients to be rapidly assessed, diagnosed and treated with out being admitted to a ward. If safe to do so, patients will go home the same day their care is provided.
Who’s it for: AHPs
Referrals by Hospital
AHPs can refer patients straight to SDEC Clinics via the ‘Phone’ tab of Consultant Connect. See our page Consultant Connect for more information on how to use this tool.
