What is the Penrose Portal?
We’ve taken all of our policies and procedures, all the various resources people have put together over the years, as well as tapping the knowledge of staff across the group, and assembled it in one place that’s easy to read, easy to access, easy to use.
Navigating the Portal
The Portal is very straightforward to navigate! The homepage is split into five main sections:
- For everyone has resources that apply to everyone that works at Penrose Health. For example, our Company Handbook covers all our key policies and procedures that relate to your employment with us (e.g. holidays, benefits, code of conduct). The Penrose Health IT Help Guide has key information from the IT team about how to set-up, use, and troubleshoot our IT systems.
- Your role has information for all of our staff about their job roles. Each role at Penrose Health has their own handbook, which contains policies and procedures relevant to carrying out your job.
- For our locums has information about working with us for our locum GPs and nurses, for each of our sites.
- Forms & Links is a list links to all of our key forms (e.g. payroll queries, significant events) and tools (e.g. NHSMail, WhosOff).
We’re only about halfway done so far - we’re going to be adding more job handbooks so every team has their own resource bank here!
We’ll let you know when we launch anything new in our monthly Penrose Portal update email, or on Teams if it’s something specifically for your staff group.
Giving us feedback
Our goal is to create a single knowledge base for the whole of Penrose Health. We want it to be clear, relevant and up-to-date. If you find anything that’s out-of-date, unclear, or if there’s anything you can’t find that you think would be helpful, please let us know here!
