Overview
Key takeaway: We know that sometimes health issues or difficult personal circumstances might arise that affect your work. On this page we’ll tell you how we’ll try to support you to manage these issues.
Health issues or personal circumstances might affect your performance or attendance at work in a variety of ways. Broadly we can categorise the effects in three ways:
- You might be able to come into work, but you might not be able to carry out your normal work duties e.g. your dexterity might be affected, so you can’t carry out manual tasks
- You might need to take long-term leave, where you can’t come in at all
- You might need to take frequent short absences
Whatever the issue is we’ll try to support you, though the exact process for how we manage health and personal issues will differ depending on how your work performance / attendance is affected.
