What is this service?
EHCAMHS provide advice, consultation, assessment and treatment of children and young people with mental health difficulties and disorders. Services offered include:
- Interpersonal Psychotherapy for Adolescents (IPT-A), and for PTSD
- Family Based Interpersonal Psychotherapy (FB IPT)
- Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT)
- Systemic Family Practice (SFP)
- Solution Focused Therapy
- Mentalisation Based Treatment for Adolescents (MBT-A)
- Parent training (group and individual)
- Psycho-education, and mindfulness interventions
Up to 12 sessions are available. For all therapy types, the EHCAMHS team work closely with the patients family to support them, and help them understand how to best support their child.
Criteria
- Aged 18 or under
- Mild to moderate mental health difficulties
- Registered with a Southwark GP, live in Southwark, or attend a Southwark school

Rejections, DNAs & other Quirks
- Complete the Family Early Help referral form with the family
- The service has disabled access (wheelchair accessible building, evacuation chair, ground floor therapy room, accessible toilet)
- EHCAMHS services can be provided at any of the following sites:
