If a patient has issues with their urine, we typically need to make sure they do not have a UTI (urinary tract infection). For this, we should ask some crucial questions. Most patients will also need to provide a urinary sample so we can test it for infection.
If their condition has been there for a longer period of time, then patients are safe to wait for a routine appointment. It is still likely they will need to provide a urinary sample at the time of the appointment.
Please remind patients of this - so that they expect to provide a sample when they come for their appointment.
