All travel vaccine forms will be triaged and reviewed by the reception lead at the surgery. The reception team should direct patients to the travel vaccination form on the website. Patients can use this form for queries too.
Date of Travel
Our surgeries can only vaccinate patients if they are travelling more than 6 weeks in the future. If the patient is travelling in the next 6 weeks, there is not enough time to safely vaccinate them. These patients should go to a private vaccine clinic and see if they can be vaccinated there instead. Private vaccine clinics charge a fee for all vaccinations.
Free NHS Vaccines
Only 4 travel vaccines are offered for free at our surgeries:
Polio (given as a combined vaccine with Diphtheria and Tetanus, known as Td/IPV
Typhoid
Hepatitis A
Cholera
Yellow Fever
Yellow Fever vaccination is also available at our surgeries, but it is not free. Patients will have to pay a fee of £63 and will also receive a yellow fever vaccination certificate that they must keep.
Yellow fever vaccine is offered at these surgeries only: Kingfisher, Deptford and Knights Hill
