Swiftqueue

What it is:

Swiftqueue is an online platform where patients can book appointments at the local hospital or clinic to have a blood test done. Blood test forms need to be generated by a clinical team member via a tQuest form and then saved onto the system.

Process for Call Handlers:

1. Check it is appropriate for the patient to be directed to Swiftqueue ie the patient is able to use digital services and has internet access
1. If the patient is unable to use Swiftqueue, book the patient in with an HCA at the GP Surgery
2. Blood test forms generated by a member of the clinical support team for LB triagers via a tQuest form and then saved onto the system
3. AccuRx sent to patient with information on how to create an account and book an appointment
4. Call Handler to write consultation notes detailing phone call

Process for patients:

1. Online Appointment Healthcare Platform | Swiftqueue
2. Patient to click “Register here” if they do not yet have log in details
3. Patient will be prompted to enter details ie email address, name, date of birth, phone number and gender
4. Click on the “Book an Appointment”
5. Enter the location and click “Search”
6. Click the most appropriate hospital or clinic, and follow the prompts
