This guide in intended for members of staff who
- Have been authorised to work from home temporarily
- Have agreed to all responsibilities and requirements outlined in the Confidentially Agreement.
If you have not signed and submitted the Penrose Health Confidentiality Agreement via Bamboo HR you must not proceed with this document.
You must not share you login credentials and the contents of this document with any member of staff or public at any time during / after your employment with Penrose Health.
You should follow this step-by-step guide in the order suggested otherwise you will likely face technical difficulties and could prevent successful installation.
System requirements
The provision of remote login is based on the assumptions that you have the below. If you do not have any of the following then please contact your line manger.
- A working Windows 10 laptop or desktop
- Minimum 8GB of RAM (most modern computers do)
- An active antivirus software (most Windows 10 computers have Windows Defender installed and turned on by default – please check it is on)
A working Windows 10 laptop or desktop
- Good internet connection
- Most broadband providers should be fine – if you can stream videos online, you should be okay to proceed.
- A valid smart card and smart card reader
- Most Penrose Heath laptop has a builtin smart card reader. You will need a smart card reader if you are not using a Penrose Heath laptop.
