If you have multiple sites linked to your NHS smart-card and access to several EMIS accounts, you need to take action for each individual site.
Step 1 - Insert your smart card and choose the organisation you want to synchronize with your EMIS account.
Step 2 - Please log into your EMIS account. Click on the smartcard alert message on the banner at the top of the EMIS screen to sync your smart card. Below is an example of a smartcard alert.
Step 3 - The system will prompt you to enter your smartcard passcode to complete the association. Enter the passcode and click on 'Associate'.
EMIS Web will restart itself automatically if the synchronisation is successfully completed.
