To adjust default printer settings for a specific Windows User, go to a patient that recently had a smear request completed electronically via tQuest within EMIS Web.
Step 1 - Click on “EMIS ball” > “Workflow” > “Workflow Manager”
Step 2 - Open the Workflow module in EMIS Web, select Test Requests from the left pane menu and then select Report List from the ribbon menu.
Step 3 - Select "Cervical Screening and Pathology Services"
Step 4 - Visit the Test Printout tab. Then, click on the "Test Printer Configuration" at the bottom right to print a test page.
Step 5 - To begin, select the appropriate Brother printer and MP Tray. Establish your margins as Left 5, Top 5, Right 5, Bottom 5, and then click save. Please be aware that these settings are not default and may require some tweaking to achieve the desired result.
If you are not getting the Printing Settings box as outlined on “Step 5” then please go through “Step 6”.
If you need more changes, repeat the steps above to tweak the margins as needed.
Step 6 (Optional - only action if required from Step 5) - Click on Restore Suppressed ScriptX Printing Dialogs. Then, click on Configure Plain Paper Printer. Follow “Step 5” to adjust the margins.
