CLI (Calling Line Identification) is the number that patients will see when you call them. Choosing the correct CLI helps avoid confusion and ensures patients know which surgery is contacting them.
🧭 Step-by-Step: Changing Your CLI
Phone Bar Desktop App users:
Click on your initial on the phone bar, you will see a CLI selector dropdown or menu. Choose your desired number and continue with your call as usual.
Softphone over the web users:
On the virtual dialer, please click on the CLI dropdown, you will see a CLI selector dropdown or menu. Choose your desired number and continue with your call as usual.

- Always double-check that the correct CLI is selected before calling.
- Use the surgery’s mainline number associated with the patient’s registered site.
- Avoid withholding the number unless it’s required for confidentiality or privacy reasons.
