What is e-lfh?
eLearning for healthcare (e-lfh) is a platform which offers >150 eLearning programmes, each of which has been designed to educate and train the health and social care workforce.
Creating an e-lfh account
To create an e-lfh account, follow these steps:
- Click here to open the e-lfh registration page.
- Enter your NHS email address into both of the boxes shown, then select the ‘Register’ button.
- Enter your details, current role and workplace location. Click the ‘Register’ button once complete.
- You should now receive an email from no.reply@e-lfh.org.uk with your e-lfh username and a link to reset your password. Please click this link.
- Enter your new password into both boxes shown, then select ‘Change Password’.
- Login to e-lfh using your username and new password.
- Read and accept the Terms & Conditions, then set up two security questions. Select ‘Save Security Questions’.
- Complete the technical check by clicking the ‘Check my device’ button.
- When the ‘Browser Checks’ page opens, click the ‘Continue’ button.
- You’ve now registered and logged in!

Navigating e-lfh
Once you’re logged in, you’ll be taken to the homepage, which looks like this ⬇️
From here, you can access:
- My eLearning → to view eLearning modules which you have been enrolled in
- View full catalogue → for a list of all available eLearning modules (these can also be found via the search bar at the top of the page!)
Enrolling in a module
- Select ‘View full catalogue ⭐’ and this page will open.
- Select a programme from the list shown. Alternatively, search for a specific programme using the search bar.
- You’ll now be able to see the modules available within this topic (shown in pink text).
- To enrol, select a module and click the pink ‘Enrol’ button.
You’ll now be able to view this module via ‘My eLearning’!
Downloading your certificates
After you’ve completed a module, you’ll receive a certificate. To access:
- Select ‘My activity’, then ‘Certificates’.
- Select a programme from those shown.
- You can download certificates for an entire programme or each individual module within a programme (represented by folder image) by clicking the certificate image on the right.
If you have not completed a programme/module the badge will appear grey rather than gold.
